Hisham Akira Bharoocha is a multi-media artist, musician, and creative director based in Brooklyn New York. Bharoocha works in various mediums creating large-scale mural paintings, drawings, and collage work. His work has been published in Art Forum, Nowness, i-D, V, and Flaunt Magazine to name a few.  Bharoocha has had solo exhibitions at Snow Contemporary (Tokyo) D’Amelio Terras (New York) De Vleeshal (Netherlands). Bharoocha is also known for the large-scale performances he organizes with the experimental rock band Boredoms. The most well known performances are the BOADRUM series, where up to 100 drummers perform with the band.  Hisham is a member of the band Kill Alters and creates his own music under the name Soft Circle.
