Petrova Giberson is a New Hampshire-based multi-media artist. Ice Pieces is a work of video art meant as a companion to the Arctic collection, and part of an on-going, evolving collaboration between Petrova and Tess. In the video Petrova explores the dichotomies of fullness and lack, and the dialectic between creation and deconstruction. “I started looking for the presence of emptiness- the space of iced water and frozen mountains- a kind of still vastness that shift your physical self. In searching for the scale I found and gathered trace elements unraveling them to form a new created open space.”
