While thinking about the 1980s and looking over the fun filled colorful fashion photos of the era I remember my own time in the 80s, memories of a quiet bookstore seeing the covers off magazines and going to Turtles the local music stores and listening to the albums of the 80s who spoke to us much more directly and honestly than anything else or so it seemed at the time. Skateboarding to buy The Cure’s Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me the day it came out and listening to it on cassette on a walkman skating home. I chose a quiet take on the 80s reflecting Bruna’s gentle nature and my memories of the hair bands often spent in solitude
